Elena Gilbert and her brother Jeremy come to an understanding about the loss of their parents. Elena is accepted amongst her friends and a flawless straight A student, but has problems hiding her mental suffering from the world. Meanwhile, Jeremy marches on a hazardous path of employing drugs to ease his pain. The appearance of new student named Stefan Salvatore, however, coerces Elena to think about romantic possibilities.

It was a very good video. I got hooked up to the series after seeing part of episode 2, but missed this one. Saw it on a tv marathon yesterday, and couldn´t resist to watch it again. I like the cast, specially the three female friends, and well, right now I´m deciding which Salvatore brother is the hottest, because I think they are both handsome in their own particular way and it reflects on the character they play.
